Since my LNC2 (N233EE) was inspected 2/15/01, I have in my hot little hands the Phase I and Phase II letter left by the FAA inspector. (A kind and true Gentleman BTW). Phase I item 6. "No person may be carried in this aircraft during flight unless that person is required for the purpose of the flight." I know how I interpret that... you do so at your own discretion. As an aside, the inspector stapled this letter to my 'Special Airworthniness Certificate' to remind me that this letter MUST be kept in the aircraft FOREVER and must be available at any upcoming ramp check! He says this is most often not the case and repeated it several times. So I'm going to keep it in N233EE all the time.
