First of all, I'd like to thank Jim Frantz and Curtis Krouse for pointing me in the right direction and eventually solving my grounding problem. Thanks guys!
As soon as I inspected the wiring I had done for my lights yesterday, with the new information I had regarding possible grounding problems, I knew where I had screwed-up almost immediately without even getting close to a volt meter...
Tim Ong's landing and taxi lights were designed to install on the main gears. While I was wiring these lights, I had a "brilliant" idea: since the VisionMicro fuel level sensor already had a ground wire going into the main ground bus, I'll simply connect the ground wire from the lights to this wire, thus, saving time and effort of having to route TWO wires into the main ground bus. Smart guy huh? NOT!! It was now obvious that that was the problem and running a separate ground wire to the main ground bus did the trick! I guess I can now land at night and STILL be able to know my rpm and manifold pressure, etc...

PS Interior update: Front carpeting: done, center console: done... Interior work halted once again due to return of back pains... :-(
