Lancair says to turn on the LOW at 10,000 feet. Is this a good number? What happens if you forget to turn off the low boost on the way down? Is there a risk of flooding the engine at low power settings with the low boost turned on? On another note, when the ignition switch is selected to the START position, are both mags hot? I'm not even sure if one or both of the mags have impulse couplers on this engine. I've been told that the mags are a Slick pressurized model. If not an impulse couple on both, is there a problem if both mags are hot when cranking? Thanks for the help.
