Matco brake pads have been inconsistent, sometimes flaking, never holding well even if broken in properly.  Do their pads work better with their new harder discs?  I don't know since I use the Cleveland replacements pads and the newer discs.  The brakes seem to hold better as indicated by better steering control and no rolling at the 1900 RPM run-up.
