One of the worst jobs is laying with your belly on the seat backs with your elbows on the baggage bulkhead, trying to work back there. There is not enough room to get two arms back there to hold anything, because one is being used to hold your body. It's extremely frustrating, and I can tell you that I have spent an entire hour to install a cotter pin in one of the elevator pushrod bolts back there. Light and ventillation are bad, your knees, elbows and forearms will have fiberglass burns all over them...just a total PITA. Things to do back there: Elevator pushrods Battery Hydraulics (all of it!) Antennas Bulkhead closeout panels Shoulder harness attachments Rudder cables And don't put your quarter panel windows in until you are ready to finish and paint. You will need to stick your upper body thru both of the windows to get at the flap mechanisms and flap-closeout panels.
