Use an ice cube to make a nice fillet any time you use RTV. Mask off either side of where you want the fillet, squeeze the RTV in place, then squeegee it with an ice cube with the appropriate radius. (Hold the ice cube under the tap (water, not beer) to melt it until you obtain the correct radius.) Remove the masking tape immediately after the ice cube trick. This technique works on bathtubs or Glasairs as well .
