You might try getting a 100 to 150 watt flood light and set it up just outboard of the wing tip pointing inboard -- so the light just grazes the surface. Then turn off all the overhead shop lights. You will be surprised how easy you will be able to see all the little imperfections. If you see them this way, you can be sure that they will be visible after a nice glossy coat of paint is applied. I did most of sanding and filling using this flood-light illumination technique. It makes it much easier to tell when you are finished and ready to move on to primer.
