That is a lot of micro and it will cook off. The best solution is to artfully make a foam spacer which you glue to the stub wing skin with epoxy with micro to create a soupy consistency to fill the foam voids and cover the whole thing with four bid glass with a two inch attachment on each side of the foam. It is light, and strong. and not as messy. Make sure the alignment along the leading edge of the wing and stub wing to the wing root is straignt and also the mating edges at BL50 are matched. It is difficult to do but rewarding when done right. Also paint the inside of your wheel well before you close it out. install all hardpoints and hardware as well then close it out. The final bid tapes installed and finished painting and you are done. I used a paint brush for the job and it looks fine. I used white as the color so you can see inside for easier inspection.
