Ed:

We have never liked our canopy latch either.  Canopy leaks like a sieve.  Don't like large handle much on outside or inside for that mater.  We tried every kind of seal, but shearing force on rear vertical edges and gap there has confounded any simple solution.  I recently got blamed for split ends in Deb's hair as most of it sucked out the top of the cabin on a trip to NY.  Who has the best system out there?  We actually have a new canopy and frame but are waiting for the best way to proceed.  I like N222H system but difficult to duplicate, and I can just imagine 10 remote controls getting lost and accidently getting actuated during flight with an unscheduled canopy opening!  And in our group of clowns a partner would hit the button as the airplane flew by just to see what would happen...
