Our good buddy Jim Weir says the best and only protection from lightning for
our composite aircraft is AVOIDANCE. Have any of you installed or had
installed in your LC-20,  a BFG Stormscope or Insight Strikefinder?
(allegedly, the FAA would recognize LC-20 as FAASpeak for a two place Lancair)

Since I'm on an antenna binge at the moment, I thought I would at least try to
make provision for a future installation.

ps. the only thing slower than watching epoxy cure is the process of
unraveling the double braided shield on RG142 coax.
