When I was first flying my 235 I had a provision for a both position in the
fuel system. After parking on downhill ramp I noticed some drainage out of
the left wing vent and saw that I had lost about half or slightly more of
the fuel in the right wing. On rotation at takeoff I was surprised to find
I needed full right ailerion to keep the left wing up for those few seconds
before the speed built up. I suggest that any body who has a tank feed
failure in flight and has used most of the opposite wing fuel do a
controlability check before landing, you may want to land faster than
normal.
