Thanks you to those who tried to explain where my logic was going astray. Special thanks to Brent for taking the time and trouble to to go into detail on
how out of the ordinary conditions would cause my version of a fuel system to fail.

I guess that's one of the things this site is good for - to throw out an idea and
have people who know what they are talking about critique them and keep us out of trouble. Thank You
