Its really not possible to say that the ailerons will or won't support an empty wing. Aileron authority is determined by indicated airspeed just like rudder authority is determined by IAS in a twin with one engine shut down. So, if you have a fuel imbalance or an engine feathered ,keep up your speed :) . Hannes Trnka
