I used WLS exclusively on my Lancair 290 and I have been using it on my Lancair IV. I Brush and squegee the first coat on to get it into the pinholes. I sand that first coat with 80 grit and remove most of it. That fills the weeve and most of the pin holes. I then spray on several more coats block sanding between coats. I don't think that WLS is that hard to sand, but I haven't tried that many other primers. I like WLS
