As I recall, you can buy cables in 1 foot increments. Determine the minimum length you need and then buy the next longer foot length. That way you can bend a twist around obstacles and have a little slack to pretty up the route. I have the 36F1A6 with the left front prop governer as well. The route is high just under the header tank and into the back of the baffle parallel to the ignition wires. Short mounts. I suggest you buy the cessna bracket to mount on the prop governer to hold the cable. You will have just enough room to install this mechanism and still have cowling clearance. I used the cable without the threaded end rod and machined a keeper to connect the prop governer arm to the cable. Works fine. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
