Superfil is lighter (3.5 pounds per gallon vs 6 pounds per gallon for epoxy/micro) and easier to sand (not that micro is hard to sand).  I'm using that wherever I can.  They caution you not to use it too thick, however.  They say not to go thicker than 1/4 inch unless you put a layer of BID over it for strength.

I experimented with it on the bottom of the fuselage where the belly pan attaches to the tailcone.  I figured if it came out crappy nobody would notice.  It actually came out very well.
