Five bucks, and I'll pick it up, and I'll be there tomorrow!!!!

Well, maybe a little more.  The Legacy is a much more complete kit but goes for $40K, and ask any of the depositors how long it takes to get one.  Sure, the Legacy is nicer since it is more complete, but this barely-been-touched fast build 360 might be the only game in town for someone who wants to join the Lancair community but can't pony up $40K to start.

Lancair, in their infinite wisdom (?), has made a conscious decision to service the high end customer exclusively.  It's hard to argue with their strategy when they're selling the kits faster than they can make them.  However, it's a little sad to realize that someone in the financial position I was in when I bought my kit in 1994 cannot join the club anymore.  (This may be where RV builders come from...)  The super fast build 320 was the pinnacle of the pre-Legacy 2-place kits, and there won't be any more.  It's every bit as fine a product as it was a few years ago.  I'd value a non-started 320 super fast build with the Mark 2 tail and extended engine mount and cowl at between $15K and $20K.  I'd ask $20K and settle happily for $15K.

But if you get no offers, remember, five bucks and I'll be there with my trailer in 24 hours!
