I just saw Ron Galbraith's post asking for recommendations on the location of the instrument panel for his ES. Jim White and I are at approximately the same construction point on our IV-P's and I have the same questions. For those of you further along/already flying, is the Lancair-recommended position good? Would you move or tilt the panel based on your experience? Any suggestions/comments appreciated. BTW, we have the newer aileron torque tubes with the aileron crossover tube passing just above the nose gear tunnel, as opposed to the older units that had the crossover tube up higher behind the instrument switches.
