I found a couple interesting things on the web about AGE85.  See http://www.eerc.und.nodak.edu/features/EBAF.html for an article describing FAA certification and http://www.fuelandfiber.com/Fuel/Research/AGE85/age85.html for a brief mention of commercialization.  Are these guys on to something here, or is this a pipe dream?
