I think I stripped my wing tank fuel drain fitting.

Any suggestions? I will remove and tap and die the fitting and the
receptacle, but then should I use some teflon tape

remove the tape and use blue locktight or check with a hyd shop they have a
hyd sealant good for gap filling and 2500 psi. tape is good for pvc
