Q--On the older IO-470-U,V Do they require 80 or 100 octane fuels.

A--The IO-470-U and V require 100LL.  The 225 bhp IO-470-J, K can use 80/87.  The 250 bhp IO-470-G,P,R,T can use 91/96.  All other IO-470's use 100LL.
