We use QCELL extensively in building the Express Series 2000.  The main
application is to mix with resin for forming the radius at joints before
layups.  I believe it is a hollow quartz spheres instead of glass spheres. Probably not enough difference with glass microballoons to make any difference. Any type of microballoon should not be used where strength if required.
