Tim,

When do you expect to have the FADEC ready for the IO550.........a realistic date?
--FADEC for IOF-550 is at least 6 months from final FAA Type Certificate.  The IOF-240 testing is complete and we are waiting on its FAA approval before finalizing the IOF-550.

Does the pilot or the FADEC have control of the propeller?
--The Prop control is your choice.  FADEC can take full control with the electronic governor.

Have you worked on any tuned exhaust for the IO550?
--Yes, we have done testing on several designs.  Improvements in rated power is less than 3%(9 bhp).  Mid-range has more to gain in BSFC.
