I'm an Electrical Engineer (non -practicing) and I think I got more out of the course than the non-electrical types. Bob does assume that everyone in the class has a basic knowledge of electrical theory, however. The greatest value in the class for me as a newcomer to aircraft construction, was to get a better understanding of the concepts of redundancy and reliability. It was also very helpfull to have someone knowledgeable to answer all those questions that had gone unanswered from 30 years of flying.
