Date: Mon, 16 Oct 2000 04:13:25 GMT Message-ID: X-Mailing-List: lancair.list@olsusa.com Reply-To: lancair.list@olsusa.com Mime-Version: 1.0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<--->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> << Lancair Builders' Mail List >> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<--->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> Hi all: I was just starting my 235's rudder pedal assembly (adjustable on 1/4" sliding plywood floor) and on page 275 figure 266 there is a note: "trim and align so ctr block captures both rudder bars (snug together)". Indicating a trim of the lower part of the inboard pedal bar...but no dimension for this trim is given (or any minimum clearence to the nose gear tunnel). I could use about 1/2" more clearence between the bar and the nose gear O/C pivot axle. Do any of you remember how much you trimmed off the lower part of the inboard pedal bar here? Or what clearence you used to the fuselage sides/nose gear tunnel? Thanks in advance. -Ed Sikora (LC235, 290 maybe) Merritt Island, Fl planeman23@hotmail.com >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
