-very similar results to what I measured on the AM motor a while back.
30A/50mV in this case
peaks in the 165A range.

Today I finally got around to checking the inrush current on my 1986 model Oildyne 108AA-19-AL-3VT pump. In the gear up direction the inrush current was 135 Amps. To do the test I used a 75A/50mV shunt and a Fluke 87V meter in the 250uS peak hold mode. I tried it three times and all readings were pretty much the same.
