As you may recall, last November my up relay welded itself shut, causing an uncommanded gear retraction on the ground. The resulting prop strike grounded my plane for 50 days at a distant airport. Insurance covered the expense but I will be paying higher premiums for years to come. I replaced the Bosch relays with the Lancair-recommended heavy duty automotive style contactors. I still hold my breath every time I turn on the master switch. -Adam Molny Legacy N181AM 237 hours _____ From: marv@lancair.net [mailto:marv@lancair.net] Sent: Monday, June 09, 2014 7:47 AM Subject: Re: [LML] Oildyne Hydraulic Pump Rebuild?
