As a field repair, the weld repair to my damaged system was good (enough to get me home) but not quite good enough to be a permanent repair. The fact that no jig was available caused the #4 exhaust flange to be slightly out of correct alignment. So,….Custom Aircraft Parts in California, http://www.customaircraft.com did an outstanding job of fabricating a replacement exhaust system for 4ZQ and I would highly recommend them. In the end and after a few tweaks, they made it fit perfectly.

The two clamps seen in this pic lock the tailpipes together with a cross brace which is then secured directly to the the rear of the engine. 
And their welding skills are amazing….
