That's great news on this issue.  The mod is a very easy retrofit.

This mod is excellent (spacer near latch) and easy to implement.    My experience has been that at 1800 RPM, the canopy will lift up thereby warning you during mag check.   At takeoff power the canopy immediately pops.  There is no way to depart with an unmatched canopy with this mod on my legacy.
