My IV-P is having an extensive rebuild after a ha= nger fell on it 3 years ago.

We are in the final stages (I hope).

When the shop started to mount the e= ngine they found the the brand new engine mount was shorter than my origina= l mount. It positioned the engine an inch or two further aft. This caused s= pace conflicts with the battery box and put the spinner just inside the cow= ling.

My kit was a fa= irly early kit built by Mark Kirchner and completed in 1998.<= /p>

Can anyone offer any insights as to why thi= s might happen? Were there more than on engine mount for the IV-P? Does any= one have CAD drawings for the mount?
