 Jeff,

The TSLM ( Turbine Starter Limiter Monitor )  is not coupled with the OP
Tech but is or can be  coupled to the VR Avionics EIU ( Engine Information
Unit ) via a CAN bus interface. The EIU is in turn connected to the OP Tech
and other EFIS like Advanced Flight Systems to provide Turbine engine info
via a RS 232 interface.

The TSLM is the unit that activates the EHT valve during starting and during
Beta if needed.
Torque is calculated from a pressure sensor in PSI connected to the TSLM and
the output to a EFIS in RS 232 format is in PSI. It is up to the EFIS system
to convert it to a % value IE. Max Torque on a Walter D engine is 132 psi.

For more info you can look at the TSLM-M601 Operational & Install Manual and
the EIU M601 Operational & Install on our website at www.vravionics.com

My direct contact info is also on the site.

 Maurits
