The one of the potted leads on my RPM transducer is failing (broken wire inside the insulation causing intermittent functionality).  The sensor is on a Slick magneto.  Ive got a Lightspeed Plasma II on the opposite side.  

Does anyone know of a replacement for the VM version of the transducer that is available for sale, or have an old one lying around? 

Is the newer JPI unit compatible?  Is there a generic part that isn't marked up to $300?
