Santa was good to me and got me the GoPro black edition camera.  I down loaded the free IPhone app, went to the airport and mounted the double sided sticky tape (snap in place ) mount out on the wing tip. Went flying a few hours later and it worked flawlessly. Amazing quality and a snap to run from your phone in the cockpit.
I was a bit skeptical but out at Oshkosh I saw them on the aerobatic show planes with just the double tape- pulling 8G's with wild maneuvers and all, I figured I would be ok with gentleman aerobatics and 200 knots. So far so good!
Also the quality of the video was much better than my older  Contour camera.
