Peter,   I saw your quote on insurance price.  Can I ask who you are getting it through.   I had worked through AOPA  initially (NEVER AGAIN)  on my IV and the cost was 3300 for 100/1M liability and 220 hull ground coverage only .   I went to renew after the first year and had mistakenly missed the date by 6 days (thought it expired end of April and it was actually beginning of April).   they dropped me.   AOPA had no one that covered me.   Called a LOBO recommended company and got the most ridiculous insurance quote I have received in my life.  Same coverage but $7500 with a 25000 deductible.   So I am uninsured.  I dont want to be uninsured but I wont be held hostage either.  I would definitely get liability coverage if I could get it for what you got.   Do you have to fly it to Oregon for an annual inspection. What about annual recurrent training.
