John,
I think it's the 'what you don't know bit' and the unexpected that can quickly let you into trouble.
I've got 80+hrs in my 360 now and feel reasonably comfortable with normal 'expected' flight operations.
On my first flight, Bill Harrelson was in the right seat and we calibrated the AOA Pro with two zero g maneuvers.
Also explored approach to stall both clean and dirty. But except for takeoff and landing, I have intentionally not explored those speeds again. Temps were below zero at altitude and the motor had not yet been broken in. Now, I am again exploring slow flight and approaches to stall as well as simulated engine out procedures.
This plane is a pure delight to fly. Just be prepared for the fact that it is two very different machines at normal flight speeds vs slow flight, and it does not like to go down and slow down at the same time. You'll need to stay way ahead of the curve.
Merry Christmas
