Speaking of paint....

Early on, I challenged myself to construct 4ZQ with the goal of perfecting the finish, such that any visible
sign of fabric weave in any light condition would not be possible. Since I was doing all the finish work from
micro to primer through base and clear coat, I thought I had a reasonable chance, and probably why it
took me sooo long to build. Probably should not have fixated on this issue quite so much. My only experience
with finishing materials was PPG and from about 3" away the plane looks great, except for part of a mosquito
wing embedded in the clear. You have to look really hard to find it though. So my conclusion is to focus
on the big picture....get the plane flying and don't sweat the small tuff like seeing fabric weave through the finish.

It's probably been achieved, but beyond my skill level.
