Thanks, Gary. That’s pretty much what I figured, and did apply the grinder last night. The ribs that far aft are probably not very structural, since they are aft of the spar, and support only the skins. It only takes about one half inch of rib removal to achieve the clearance necessary for the aileron, and I left the capstrips in place anyway. The results look pretty good, actually. I’ll post pix on my Kitlog site in a day or two. What’s really challenging is getting the aileron/wing gap straight and uniform.
