Niagara kept telling me about Sky-tec brushes and bearing problems when I ha=
d my starter adapter problems. The suggestion was to check for noise and any=
 bearing noise was a reason to inspect brush and bearings.   Any brush probl=
em would certainly affect starting torque and speed.  It's a simple inspecti=
on.
