I need a little advice in picking a good location for my VMS fuel flow transducer. For a fuel injected engine, the VMS manual says to mount it between the fuel control unit and the flow divider. I would prefer to mount mine between the gascolator and the engine-driven fuel pump instead. The pressure might be lower at this location, but the fuel flow will be the same, since I have no bypass pluming that returns fuel to the tank. Does anyone see a problem with this location?
