The steel spar bolts indeed had cut some t= hread marks into the bushings during assembly/disassembly that I had mistake= n them for the actual threads, in aluminum at that! The steel nut is good, thank God! By the way there is a posting in the archives back in 2002 where somebody ha= d indeed messed up the inboard nut plate. Apparently it was not pretty repl= acing it!
