In order for Lancair to address this issue, they would first have to acknowledge that there is an issue. That would raise possible liability. You are not likely to hear from Lancair on this. Someone will have to come up with a fix, similar to the Ong Debongers, and share or sell the improvement. Personally, I like the Cozy solution. LOBO has concentrated it's efforts primarily in the training area where it has shown considerable success in reducing the accident rate. I know that LOBO members share your concern for safety I would, however, suggest that Lancair itself may be in a better position to take the lead on this research and I would encourage them to do so.
