Sounds good on all suggestions.  If anyone has a pic of a mount of the go pro to the wing tie down bolt I would love to see it.

I have a Drift camera that is a little sleeker but not much. The same 3m adhesive has held it just fine.  I'm worried it will take the paint with it if I ever stuck it directly to the paint.  I estimated 15lbs of drag on a flat plate twice the size of the camera at 240kias.

All,

Do you all attach GoPro to aircraft surfaces using only the 3M stick mounts that GoPro comes with or is there additional securing options?

Getting ready to ferry aircraft to East coast and want to make some videos along the way.  I am thinking of mounting to outboard wing or possibly main wheel pants.

Also am up for suggestions of what does and does not work.

Thank you

George
