I met Bruce Bohannon once at Oshkosh.  Very nice man.  But what struck me the most was after 5-10 minutes of conversation he looked into the big cardboard box that we'd been standing next to and said "Oh, another engine.  How nice." This was a brand new Mattituck race engine.  It was remarkable how casual he was about it.  Like it was just another bolt or something.
