The PFD/ MFD boxes display more than the i= pad ever will. Engine data, air data, and reliable flight data propapbly ne= ver will be displayed on the ipad. I can shoot an approach safely with an E= FIS system. I cannot with just an ipad. If the ipad craps out-- so what. If= the EFIS craps ---that's a different story.
