I was threading the needle into the Detroit area (see picture) when my iPad= (using ForeFlight) displayed a message that it was shutting down due to hi= gh temperature. The pinkish line is my flight path and where the dark red = line crosses it just below that building is about where it quit. It wasn= =92t critical at that point because I was very close to my destination (KVL= L). Plus I have a Garmin 430W=2C but it spooked me. That was a first for = me. Have any of you experienced this treat in a critical flight regime? W= hat did you do?
