I am completing a 235 which I purchased about a year ago. The rudder cables seem to have too much friction. A lot of force is needed to actuate the rudder. I did notice some carpet glue on the cables left from the first builder. I cleaned it off and also tried lubricating the cables with dri-film lubricant, but not much inprovement. Does anyone dnow how much friction is acceptable in the cable system? How about a better method of lubricating the cables and with what type of lubricant? I hate the thought of changing the cables and/or guides, but this may be the only solution. Any suggestions?
