Subject: Why is ES upper left fuselage not symmetrical with right side?

All,

It has come to my attention through a person we were considering contracting to do our interior that the left and right sides were not symmetrical in the measurements from the window bottoms on each side to the centerline of the roof.  Upon closer inspection we realized that the left side was taller than the right, in particular where the door hinges are attached.  However, when looking at the base of the windshield in reference to the cowling, it looks symmetrical.

Does anyone else have this? If so, is it designed so because of the P-Factor (only good reason I can think of)?  Also, the windshield had to fit into the existing curvature without issues I suppose.  The plane flies wonderfully, trims up hands free through the entire flight envelope so I am not too worried, just curious.  Then again, maybe they did that to accommodate the left side ego.

George
