If you think Lancair electro-hydraulics are interesting, you won't believe the 337 with six doors (four of which also close on extension while the nose wheel turns sideways on retraction to fit in the well. Don't cycle the gear on an aborted takeoff or the start of a go around as the opening of the main gear wheel doors are at least a 3 square foot drag plate while they are open during transition.
