I am going to use a high voltage supply for each strobe, and mount it in the wingtips right next to the strobe. This way I don't have to worry about any noise radiated from the wiring, high voltage near the fuel tanks, high voltage wiring, or shielded wiring. Any high voltage arcing would be disastrous in my carbon fiber plane. It would burn up the fibers in the area that arced. E-glass plane builders don't have to worry about this.
