It's a 12 x 16 inch patch of self-stick plastic, dark green with a dot-matrix patten of clear. Adapts to the compound curves of the canopy just fine, although it's not easy to get all of the tiny air bubbles out. With our 100+ weather the past two months, I'm not going to worry about that for now. The stuff is mad by AXIUS accessories, and I found it at Wal-Mart for $2.87 per sheet. Goes on dry, and I got it on my parallelogram canopy in less than 15 minutes, without help (@97 degrees F). I've put one on each side, just in case I get my hours flown off and have an occupant in the right seat. While looking, I found that AXIUS also makes a solid color (dark smoke) version that seems to be the same material, 16 x 16 inches at K-Mart for $1.99. I prefer the dot-matrix look, although the 12 x 16 rectangles leave something begging esthetically. Maybe AXIUS makes the stuff in larger sheets that would address the asthetics.
